What we store in your browser, and why.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies such as localStorage let a site remember information between page loads. We use as few as possible.
2. Strictly necessary
These are required for the platform to function and are set without consent:
- Authentication and session storage that keeps you signed in and secures magic links and password resets.
- Security and abuse-prevention storage used by our infrastructure providers.
- Your cookie consent choice, so we do not ask again on every visit.
3. Preferences and local career data
We store your interface preferences and a working copy of your career profile and generated documents in your browser. This is what allows the installed app to show your saved career data when you are offline. Clearing site data removes this local copy; your synced account data remains on the server.
4. Analytics and marketing
We do not currently run third-party analytics, advertising or marketing cookies on this platform. If we introduce them, they will be off by default, listed here, and loaded only after you accept non-essential cookies.
5. Third-party cookies
Signing in with Google, and completing payment with Stripe or Razorpay, involves those providers setting their own cookies on their own pages under their own policies.
6. Managing cookies
You can change your consent choice at any time from the cookie notice link in the footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
